BEWARE of the Leaven
Matt.16:6 Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.
Eph.5:5-21
Matt. 16:11 How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?
What is the symbolism of leaven one may ask.
Galatians 5:9
A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump. (1 Corinthians 5:6) (*1 Corinthians 5:7)
A little leaven (yeast) sours the whole lump (batch of dough). The same thing happens to a message that is perverted(tampered with). You add one falsehood or twist to the context the slightest bit and you change the whole message!
Example: Satan tried to tempt Christ by twisting scripture:
Psalm 91:12
They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
This is the verse Satan perverted. When we look at it we see that if by accident such happens but Satan put it in the context of well you can choose to dash your foot you will be protected. That is tempting God, and attempting to use him! (Matthew 4:6/ Luke 4:11) he says “at any time”!

It also says alot when one stresses how big(colorful/quality) their tallit, shofar, or tzitzit is. These type people put on a good show to appear more spiritual than others when in fact their priorities reflect physical treasures rather than Spiritual.

Again talking to the Pharisees, John 8:44 44Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Remember man can justify anything with in his own mind!

Isaiah 8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
Not all are trying to pull you down there is always a remnate present in the world. A good elder is a blessing and such always teach people how to study for themselves and encourage a personal relationship with God! We have no need for a middle man between us and Christ. All sin. Beware of those who do a sermon on one or two verses! Notice how much emphasis is put on donations to the church. Beware of social class and status within a congregation! Do they give All credit to God? Do they pray to any other than God?
Also does your church teach what the two churches Christ found no fault with in Rev. taught? (Church of Smyrna /2:8-11/ Church of Philadelphia/ 3:7-13)
Do you agree with everything of a single denomination or elder?

When seeking find many scriptures that relate to the subject if not all of them and see where they all agree! This is how you find the truth, there are no contradictions! Does your elder refer back to the original languages! (Hebrew, Greek,& Syriac (Chaldee) It is good to learn how. There also easy to use tools for this as well. Determine which sources you find to be qualified!
Does your church stay in the milk of the Word? Does it ever get into the meat?
Things to consider!
Remember no two will agree on all things all the time! No two are at the same stage in their walk all the time. Do not stay in unfruitful discussions or studies! Don't be lazy when it comes to studing documentation(scripture) on a subject! don't be quick to conclude your studies.
Just because people don't claim alligance to you and your organizations doesn't mean they don't claim alligance to God in Christ's name. Strife and division should not be embraced here!

But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me. For he that is not against us is on our part.
(Many want God's people to follow man of social status both in the denominationalisim of "christianity" and in rabbinical sects of "Judaisim")

The Key of David was among their understandings and practices of understanding the Word!
When the king of the north started taking the nothern territories and surrounding areas many settled in Jerusalem that were not originally "Jews". (Jer.35(:11) Such infiltrations started way sooner though. These people even made their way into priestly duties even to the point of making copies of the scriptures(1 Chron. 2:55).
I see the tares and wheat can be both in a physical and Spiritual sense. I do consider Kenites as son's of Cain and that the mark remained with them! (Jer.35:5-7) SOME of those that lead the priesthood during the days of Christ were obviously more conserned about their reputation, social status, power, and agendas rather than truth or the well being of the people (Example look who they chose to set free instead of Christ and how such was a sin according to the death penalty demanded for such.)
The enemy often uses the Church as a weapon of their own.

Today there remains a warning. Tomarrow it will either be:
"Well done good and faithful servant" /Matt.25:23/ OR
"I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." /Matt.7:23/ (Matt.25:12,30,41/ Lk.13:25-27)

In rabbinic Judaism traditions of men are held up as The Authority. The Levitical Priesthood (Deut.17:9) was the Biblical priestly order yet it became perverted and fell. Yet the religion of (rabbinic) Judaism has replaced Obvious Levites with "rabbis" & given them the upmost authority. (Jer.18:18/ Deut.19:17/ Deut.27:19)
Within the Rabbi religion, Presetence carries the weight. If a rabbi introduces a new concept they can simpley say this "truth" was revealed to Moses on the mount and understood among the priests of His day according to Oral Torah and now revealed through me a "rabbi".
Within the Talmud and other rabbinic sources you can see many views and layers of thought some of which dont agree with others (conflicting rabbinic presentations). In these situations it is standard that Presetence determines what is to be considered The Authority (devine revelation). This is DANGEROUS.
We can see the Danger of this in the court systems of the Us Government. Hard Evidence is often thrown out of courtrooms in the name of presetence based on past ruling that say how evidence can and cant be gathered. A majority consensus does NOT equal right or righteous in the eyes of The LORD.
Ex.23:2 Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment:

Physical Israel has served as a light unto the nations. Israel has brought forth the witten Word and The Spiritual Word (Yeshua), Israel has served as an example of what it is to have a relationship with YHVH (blessings & or curses). The Authority is always in the Spirit of truth Not Man Ps.118:8/ Ps.40:4
You would think with the stressing of Presetence that the rabbinic stance would be constant but History has shown that isnt the cause. Before Yeshua it was presetence amoung the sages that areas like Is.53 were clearly about Messiah. The sages gave very Christian like interpretations of Scriptures that later rabbis changed and later gain support and new presetence
Look at the Blasphemy and perversion in "Midrash Pesikta Rabbati":
"A person must not say, I will not keep the commandment of the elders because they are not from the Torah. The Almighty says to such a person, No, My son! Rather all that they decree upon you, observe! As it is written, According to the instruction which they teach you (it points to Deut.17:11). Even I (GOD) must obey their decree, as it is written, You will decree and He will fulfill it (and then it points to Job.22:8)."

Yeshua wasnt a part of human sacrifice to an idol or G-d Lev. 18:21, Deut. 18:10 rather he was executed.

Although the Talmudic rabbis concurred that Isaiah 53 was a prediction of the Messiah, by medieval times the pressure from those who applied this prophecy to Jesus was so great that Rashi, that greatest medieval Biblical scholar, reinterpreted the chapter and said it referred to the nation of Israel. This interpretation is maintained today by many Jewish scholars, though it only dates back to the Middle Ages. -JewsForJesus
Jewish Targum declares Is.53 was about Mashiach long before Rashi attempted to change interpretation following Yeshua's crucifixion.

"As for myself, I am inclined to regard it as alluding to the Messiah."
Many Talmudic comentaries say this is of Mashiach.
Talmud Sanhedrin (98b):

Here are the words of a respected Orthodox Jewish historian, Rabbi Berel Wein. How was it that the Jewish people survived the horrors of the massacres in Eastern Europe in the seventeenth century? According to Rabbi Wein:
Another consideration tinged the Jewish response to the slaughter of its people. It was an old Jewish tradition dating back to Biblical times that the death of the righteous and innocent served as an expiation for the sins of the nation or the world. The stories of Isaac and of Nadav and Avihu, the prophetic description of Israel as the long-suffering servant of the Lord, the sacrificial service in the Temple – all served to reinforce this basic concept of the death of the righteous as an atonement for the sins of other men. Jews nurtured this classic idea of death as an atonement, and this attitude towards their own tragedies was their constant companion throughout their turbulent exile. Therefore, the wholly bleak picture of unreasoning slaughter was somewhat relieved by the fact that the innocent did not die in vain and that the betterment of Israel and humankind somehow was advanced by their “stretching their neck to be slaughtered.” What is amazing is that this abstract, sophisticated, theological thought should have become so ingrained in the psyche of the people that even the least educated and most simplistic of Jews understood the lesson and acted upon it, giving up precious life in a soaring act of belief and affirmation of the better tomorrow. This spirit of the Jews is truly reflected in the historical chronicle of the time: “Would the Holy One, Blessed is He, dispense judgment without justice? But we may say that he whom God loves will be chastised. An interesting passage in the Midrash reads, "Moses said to God, 'Will not the time come when Israel shall have neither Tabernacle nor Temple? What will happen with them then?' The Divine reply was, 'I will then take one of their righteous men and keep him as a pledge on their behalf so I may pardon [or atone for] all their sins." (Exodus Rabbah, Terumah 35:4). We have the same theme stated once again: When there is neither Tabernacle nor Temple, the life and death of the righteous will make atonement, just as we read earlier in Yeven Metzulah.
The Zohar supports this concept with a citation from Isaiah 53, the Messianic prophecy most widely quoted by Christians and Messianic Jews.
The children of the world are members of one another, and when the Holy One desires to give healing to the world, He smites one just man amongst them, and for his sake heals all the rest. Whence do we learn this? From the saying, "He was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities" [Isa. 53:5], i.e., by the letting of his blood – as when a man bleeds his arm – there was healing for us – for all the members of the body. In general a just person is only smitten in order to procure healing and atonement for a whole generation.
