Sorcery

Rev.21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
Seperating medical uses from sorcery!
To use (or sell) a drug for the purpose of reaching a spiritual High is Sorcery /Drug abusers and drug dealers/ and in many cultures this tactic was embraced durring un-Godly rightuals and to even shape the minds of members of a group/. Sorcery is an abomination. Sorcery is used to over ride ones conscience.

sorcerers (#5331 G)- root: phamakeia / far-mak-i-ah from which we get the word Pharmacy (medical use). For healing, and medication natural substances are encouraged. (Luke in fact was a medical doctor) Yet to use physical substances for a spiritual high is sorcery.

Back in days of old often times within many cultures the wise men would do such things as administer medications and track (read) the stars as well as be embraced as an elder of the ways of the spirit realm (like todays- Pastors, Doctors, and Scientists) People with such a role were not always of Our Father or embracing his will.
The fact still remains that each individual is given free will. God's children are given the gift of discernment. Such can be seen as being challenged when one offers a drug or any substance that would cause one to become under the influence. The Pulpit shall be judged first.
Many Christians that realize the details of sorcery are soon turned off to substance abuse (and often times are brought out of substance abuse). However addiction can be a very big spiritual and physical battle.
Many like to have a 2nd opinion when it comes to certain health issues. I would also hope that youngsters think twice before using drugs. Many have learned the hard way. While weed has medical benifits it is also used by most to escape natural senses and to embrace a spiritual high. (priorities)

There are medical benifets (Medicinal Uses) to the poppy plant, alcohol, marijuana, the coca plant and....so on.... This doesnt mean that such substances dont also have a bite. Many even abuse perscription drugs.
Keys include moderation and intentions when using the qualities of a drug. Much like a gun. A gun can be used in defense but can also be used with more sinister intentions.



1 Cor.6:9-11 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards (methu-sos), nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
