UNDER the Law


YHVH our God is one of LAW. His Word is Life. To stray from Him is to embrace death (Rom.6:23/ Eze.18:4). YHVH our Righteous Father has a straight path for us to walk before Him (Jas.1:13-27) in Love giving him Honour and Glory (Rev.4:11). There is an effect for transgressing God('s Law /the ways of life).

Deut.30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:....

All have sinned (1 Jn.1:8-9/ Is.64:6/ Ps.14:1-3/ Rom.3:10-12,23/ Ecc.7:20/ Rom.5:12/...)
When mankind first began to stray he was seperated from the tree of Life and exsposed to the effects of sin. Man would now have to return (Teshuva/Repent) and Partake of Atonement to have life eturnal.

Gen.3:22 And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

Gal.3:18-29
For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise. Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator. Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one. Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law. But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Col.2:13-14
And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;...

-When God says if you break his Law (1 Jn.3:4) there will be a punishment, you cant simpley make Him a Liar (as the serpent attempted to claim) by just simpley saying your sorry. The wage (effect) of sin WILL (Must) be Paid. Torah (The Law) within itself contains the standard set forth to escape its condemnation. Its called ATONEMENT. Messiah fulfilled the Atonements. Prior to the crusifixtion we had types that pointed forward and following the crusifixtion we have a type that points back to the Atonements made in Yeshua HaMashiach!
-When one partakes of Atonement they are no longer "Under" the punishment of Torah cause in Atonement Torah is fulfilled! So Torah remains in effect. At judgement those that don't have atonement will be found guilty according to the Law.
-To be "UNDER" the law is to be in DEBT to the Law. Messiah pays this debt. Each will have to answer for his own transgression and those that have Atonement answer for their transgression in the name of Yeshua (which means Salvation of Yah). It's Always been the LORD our God that provides the Atonement (lamb).

Deut.27:26 Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen.

Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;.... Rom.10:4 "For Christ is the *end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth" Christ is the Fulfillment (End- Greek #5056- conclusion, final point, goal, "end", purpose, of the Law).
Matt.5:17 "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil"

Eph.2:15 "Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace".

Is.54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.

Eturnal Punishment


To perish or never ending torment?

Mal.4:1-For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

Matt.10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. (note the key word Destroy)

Revelation 2:11He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death. (Rev.20:6)

Revelation 20:14And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

2nd death- Ecclesiastes 9:5For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.
(Those who are blotted out at the final judgement will not even be remembered, it shall be as if they never even exsisted).

Revelation 20:10And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
Rev.4:11 And the smoke oftheir torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. (Matt.25:41)

 "the SMOKE OF their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever" . when something burns it burns until there is No more enegy left the Biproduct is smoke which ascends forever. Thus they perish but the torment being The Final state remains their final state "Forever and ever"
Ever here is the Greek term Aion and it has more than one use:
1)for ever, an unbroken age, perpetuity of time, * eternity
2)the worlds, universe
3)*period of time, age
Some take a single view of this One verse^ and ignore the numerous others that contradict their view. This blog shows where all the scriptures on the subject agree.

Now find where this agrees with all comparing scriptures in truth.
(Hebrew ideom/ There is an acrostic in the 37th Psalm (note/Ps.37:7,20,34) which is a verse describing the same! when describing the fat that drips off the lamb and the smoke that is the bi-product! The effect is everlasting of the lake of fire. Finie, Forever, Final, Over, done.(evermore)
an object burns until all the energy is released. It is then reduced to ashes which has no substance. This torment is greater than any could imagin for God is a consuming fire. The flaming sword of truth. One's eyes are open to the fact that they were wrong in every transgresion they committed and that they have not embraced that which frees them of such. The one who is already condemned to perish by name is Satan of which one of his names is the son of perdition (to perish/Heb. 12:29).

18Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee. All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more. (Is.14:20)

1 Corinthians 15:53-54 /KJV/For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.


Corruptible- flesh - to age, able to get sick, open to wear and tear.
Incorruption- spirit- doesn't age, nor gets sick
Mortal- lieable to die
Immortal-eturnal
at the 7th trumpet (at an instant "twinkling of an eye") all shed the flesh ("will be changed"). We have both a flesh body and spirit body! Those who die of the flesh passover into the spirit realm (Where are the dead). A Spirit is incorruptible but must also put on immortality.
John 3:36


Mal.4:2-3 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts./review & comparison

The 2nd death only happens at the End of the Lord's day.
Those who take part of the 2nd death Perish which is Final and comes after torment (the realization they are damned). Sadly not all will embrace the sacrifice (to think we have some who still say all will be saved/lol). The smoke (bi-product) is the end and represents this being Forever a Final Judgement as to be finished when they are blotted out but such spirits cease to exsist after being consumed.(period)
Another name for the devil (accuser) is DEATH Heb.2:14
Another one of his names is Rev.9:11 /Apollyon - greek/ Abaddon- Hebrew/ which means to case to perish
Partaking from this tree (knowledge of good and evil) brings death (Gen.2:17). After which one must partake of the tree of life (Yeshua/ Jesus) to live Gen.3:22) /conquer death/ 1 Cor.5:6,7,8
Throughout the Word this concept holds true that those who embrace death shall find it both physically and spiritually. Those who embrace Life shall find it. God is Just (Rev.19:1,2) _______

The English context of the term "hell" is used very loosely. It is vital that one understands this and does research on the places that the english translations use this term. Other terms in the english sources are grave and lake of fire in which people commonly label as hell.

When one looks at a thing in a spiritual context such can be described as figurative or metaphoric seeing as what is spiritual is documented as unseen to the flesh.
We can give a spiritual context to a physical one. like for example a Phyisical Death (grave) can be liked unto a Spiritual death. The word does tell us of both of these deaths and may god open eyes and ears to the context of which he shares the facts of this subject.
Three types of context
1) PHYSICAL Grave
2) SPIRITUAL State of Death figurative
3) BOTH spiritual and physical (example when Christ says hell is like unto the Valley of Hinnom, in which is a place where Garbage, carcases, and such from the walled city was burned. This is a good discription of both the first and second death!

To each his own. If you want to rebel against your Father The LORD our God have a nice Trip! Reason we were created- Rev.4:11 - For his pleasure. Have you given The LORD pleasure? Or does he have no need for you?

Yeshua did not see corruption and His spirit did not reside in the grave Ps.16:10
Yeshua went to prison following the crusifixtion where he delieverd many who had not heard the good news of the Grace of YHVH 1 Pet.3:19



John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Matt.7:21-23 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
(Some may understand that this is speaking of the 1st resurrection) The focuss is not all will make it.
Some like to claim that all will be saved out of perverting:
1 Tim.2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. The Greek word translated will shows a Choice! and means intend or intends (2 Pet.3:9/ should!). God is just and shall judge. There is a 1st and 2nd death. Let not hippies distort the Word of God. 2 Thess.1:8-9 . .
Psalm 37:28-29 For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.

2 Pet.3:7-9 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Revelation 14:9-10 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: (Judgment time)

Ezekiel 18:4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die. (all souls belong to God to judge)

Psalm 5:4 For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.


Colossians 1:17:And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. (thus at his hand things can cease to exsist (Matthew 10:28) God is a consuming Fire)!

The Death Penalty?

Intro:
Should we support the Death Penalty? Does God's Word and if so for what reason(s).

Those familure with God's Word know that His Law (Torah) perscribed the death penalty and death is an obvious effect (spiritual/phy) of sin (Gen.2:17,22/ Rom.6:23/ Heb.9:27) that can be seen with each passing moment. Where we stand on the issue comes second to the stance of The Creator.

While the physical death sentance will not be lifted for transgression of the Torah (Law), Christ did fulfill the Passover (blood) sacrifice of which fulfills the punishment of sin spiritually for those who have sinned and Yet embrace The LORD our God with all their heart at judgement. (1 Cor.5:6-8/ Heb.2:14).

So where should believers stand on the issue when it comes to Laws of the land today according to God's WORD. Should we support the death penalty? If so for what reasons?
Examples: blasphemy, rape, murder, homosexual acts, adultry,...?

Penalty- Gen. 9:6/ Ex.21:12(vs. 13 note to lay in wait)-vs14)
Christ came not to change the Law but rather to fulfill it (Matthew 5:17 )(Luke 16:17 ). when it comes to the new Covenant only practices and ordinances have changed not the Law. For this reason Christians should support the D.P. for such transgressions as the Word states!(Num.35:29&33) in my view/ example murder

Terminology/
Kill as vaguely used throughout the English World is differ than murder in the Hebrew yet both Hebrew terms are translated kill in English sources. This causes confusion and does a mis serivce to The WORD of God.
Example- Ex.29:20 "Then shalt thou kill the ram" This term in the Hebrew is shachat. it is to slaughter or kill slay as in sacrifice. nakah is another term translated kill and it is to strike , to surly wound, attack.
* In the commandment the term in the Hebrew is -ratsach- (Ex.20:13/ Deut.5:17) which is to "kill" another human being,as to murder, to slay, / One can even look to a familure root ratson which is to show delight, personal desire, pleasure, personal will/ and its root even more closely relates - ratsah- to be pleased with, to satisfy self, set affection, approve, content with, delight enjoy, favor, like reconcile self.
To “Nakah" is also translated Smiteth’ or smite. “Harag” - slay, kill. NOTE Moses was never said to have commited murder as to say "ratsach" rather he killed the Egyptian (Ex.2:12- nakah/ Ex.2:14 - harag)

The point is to kill in the fashion mentioned in the commandment is to take personal vengance upon another, to murder (premeditated) in self justification and or personal judgement. Judgement (Vengance) belongeth to God! God's judgements are just and His Law is righteous. Murder not the general "kill"as used in the NT. Again one should relate this back to the original context which would be the Greek! The term used in Matt:19:18 is phoneus. This term means a muderer (always of criminal and intentional homicide.The greek has many terms translated to the general kill, and not all mean murder (example : Apokteino)

One who lays in wait, who premeditates and kills in self justification (matt.7:1-2)is one who deserves the Death Penalty according to God's judgement (Deut.17:9). This can also be viewed in a spiritual way! Afterall who killed Christ our Lord? We all did, for we all sin (even "Christians"- 1st John 1:1-8). Grace wouldnt be Grace without the Law. Grace- undeserving unmerited favor. Thus the Law is still in effect. Those who dont recieve the Grace of God will be found guilty according to the Law at judgement.

Greek term for general "kill", destroy (aside from the detailed "murder") is
apoketeino- destroy- put to death- kill slay

"vs.1 BLESSED be the Lord my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:"

Trail
A murder should have a trial within a Godly nation to determine guilt. At least 2 witnesses are need as evidence by mouth (Deut.17 and 19/ John 8:17 ). When it comes to carrying out a trail and one is found to be baring false witness against another, THe false accuser is to recieve the punishment they sought against their fellow man (* Deut.19:16-21/ Matt.23:2/ 1 Cor.6:4)
There is also a great story of this in use in Dan. in the Apocrypha (uncannonized section of Daniel) in story of "Susanna". We also have such stories asDaniel in the lions den in Dan 6, Shadrach Meshach and Abednego Dan.3. With this being said if one is unjustly condemned at trial and punished cause of false witness and it seems the false witness got away with it God is keeping record!

* In 1 Cor.6:9-11 we see mention of many of those things listed in Gal.5:19-21 (and the Commandments) and how one can be washed clean of such while in the flesh, but i dont see murder listed there. Its not Our job to say one is hopless of salvation (Matt.5:22)while in the flesh rather we are to share His blue print and the good news of Salvation (1 Jn.1:9).

*One reason the death penalty is used and should be according to God's Word is cause these things shall cease happining among you. One can't continue to do these things when they are dead And this judgement when known to the wicked causes them to think twice before such acts.

Deuteronomy 17:6-7 (King James Version)

7The hands of the witnesses shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterward the hands of all the people. So thou shalt put the evil away from among you.
Use to in America people thought of such punishment when thinking of commiting murder. Now days one just admites and shares details and or cuts a deal for lesser punishment or pleads insane. And some states dont even have a D.P.!

One of the Devil's names is death-Hebrews 2:14 (*John 8:44)and pride is perhaps his biggest downfall.
With that knowledge look at 1st John 3:14&15 - This may suggest that one guilty of murder will not find salvation while in the flesh but rather must contend with this transgression before God. Matt. 5:21-22 / now when it comes to the term fool I support that this is to say to another they are hopeless of salvation! That is a great transgression. We as Christians are to do the opposite (call others unto repentance) and share the good message of salvation, not to play judge.

As far as a God fearing nation goes, should the death penalty be in action? Should a nation execute the judgements of The God of Israel in this time of the gentiles (Grace)? I dont ask people to judge others on their salvation but rather the transgressions of which the death penalty was given in the Word.

Also note, a sociopath has very low levels of anxiety and often passes lie detectors.

To use the exscuse of being mentaly sick during an act of murder should have little to no value in trials IMO. We are told what to do with those who commit such and when they are sent to the Father he has knowledge of all things anyway./
Spirit (Ruach)/(Pneuma) is like onto wind (the unseen). Examples: Faith, Heart, Mind, intelect/ and the Holy Spirit is Devine intelect! Those who study the brain know that those who commit murder and suicide have signs in their brains that are common! Not to say that all with such signs commit such though.

A 1641 Massachusetts law declared:

Similar provisions can be found in the Connecticut laws of 1642, the New Hampshire laws of 1680, etc.

Courts, too, have been very candid in tracing civil murder laws back to the Decalogue. For example, a 1932 Kentucky appeals court declared:

"The rights of society as well as those of appellant are involved and are also to be protected, and to that end all forms of governments following the promulgation of Moses at Mt. Sinai has required of each and every one of its citizens that “Thou shalt not murder.” If that law is violated, the one guilty of it has no right to demand more than a fair trial, and if, as a result thereof, the severest punishment for the crime is visited upon him, he has no one to blame but himself."

Even the “severest punishment for the crime” is traced back to divine laws. As first Chief Justice John Jay explained:

"There were several divine, positive ordinances . . . of universal obligation, as . . . the particular punishment for murder."
There certainly exist more than sufficient cases with declarations similar to that made by the Kentucky court above to demonstrate that the sixth commandment of the Decalogue exerted substantial force on American civil law and jurisprudence.

Gal.5:19-21 murderers (hatred,wrath,strife) will not inherit the kingdom. These are works of the flesh. Those who have devoted their lives to an ongoing relationship with the LORD through Salvation (Yeshua) have crusified such lusts Gal.5:24.

In closing,
God is the authority, so the question is what does His Word state on the subject right? After all who r we to change the Order when God's Word has spoken on the issue. The Passover (blood) sacrifice was fulfilled in Yeshua n which one can be washed of sins (example adultry which once called for stoneing). Does this blood cover all transgressions? Yes/ Spiritually. However does this do away with the governmental order of dispatching murderers (which have not eturnal life abiding in them) for the very reason (Deut.17:7)we were told to do so? If their transgression is covered automatically as a rule in general then perhaps u believe they should also be Free (to do it again) and have no fear of commiting such before the LORD which doesn't sound anything like the order of God? God called for a tial with set Standards for a murder and when found guilty send them to Him. We are also told that one who knowingly lies on the stand should recieve that which would happen to one on trial for their false witness. If there isnt enough evidence (2 witnesses/ hard evidence) then this one should not be punished. if it is determined an accident and may inflame family to vengance the one on trial maybe moved to a safe zone away from family.
