Abrahamic Covenant

Abraham is commonly known as a focal point to Monotheisim. Abraham's fruits bared witness of his relationship with YHVH (The Omnipotent, Almighty One).
Gen.12:1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
(Here we see God's interest in Abraham going forth in his spiritual walk with the LORD.)
Gen.12:2-3 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. (Gen.13:14-16) (Gen.22:17-18
* Gen.15:6 And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.
* Rom.4:1-8 What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found? For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God. For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.
Gal.2:21/ Rom.4:22/ Rom.3:28/ Phil.2:12/ Eph.2:8-9
(1 Cor.5:6-8/ 2 Cor.5:21/ 1 Pet.2:22)

-

We know that what spirit comes out in ones actions. One is a mirror of the other.
* Jas.2:20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? (Matt.7:16,20)
We are told that all sin: 1 Jn.1:8, Rom.3:23, Is. 64:6, Is.53:6, Ecc.7:20, Ps.14:3
* Rom.3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
-
Man cant achieve his own salvation by his own merit and power. We are saved by Grace (unmerited, undeserving Favor). One recieves Grace through a relationship with YHVH. The reason we were created is for The LORD's pleasure (Rev.4:11). The commandments (Ex.20:2-17/ Exodus 34:11-27/ Deut. 5:6-21) and the Sh'ma (Deut.6:4-5/ Lev.19:18) exspress the fact that we should put The LORD first and to be civil with others. Abraham showed his faith when he listened and trusted God over his own understanding.

This is the same type relationship YHVH seeks to have with his children TODAY (Jn.17:15, Matt.10:38) ! This concept is evident in the patience of Job, The way YHVH provided for Israel during the Exodus, The way Joseph found postives through hard times, like Daniel in the Lions Den and his friends in the fiery furnance, Dont forget Noah listened and trusted in The LORD and was able to survive the tribulation that came against the World.
-
Abraham learned that YHVH was everywhere all the time that you didnt have to go to one spacific location to dwell with him, that there was no need of idol gods, That there was One God that was a source of all things. YHVH dwelled with Abraham where ever Abraham was. YHVH dwelled with Abraham and promised Abraham a seed, and a dwelling place.)!
-------------------------------Physical Israel----
Israel was choosen to (1)be bring forth The WORD in more ways than one (written/ and Yeshua- Jesus), and (2) to serve as an example to the nations of how to have a relationship with YHVH. "Israel" is to mention a individual relationship with God. Gen.12:2-3, Ex.19:6, Deut.7:6, Deut.26:19 Jacob- Gen.32:27-28 ( Is.14:1 / Is.56:3)
Jew/ Yəhuda/ has many uses
1) Physical: One of the tribe of Judah (some choose to lump all phy. tribes of Israel under the label out of ignorance if Only doing so cause they are decendants of Jacob)/
2) Geographical: One who resides in the territory of Judah (or Jerusalem) With this context any of those who dwelled in the land weather they were of another tribe of Israel or even a stranger who settled their in would be considered a Jew. Those who were not desendant of Jacob who did so were required to live according to Torah. (Tribe of Levi was given no territory for their inheritance was the Light of YHVH and the Temple was in the territory of Judah so Levites that served as Levitiacl priests would be considered "Jews" by this context./ The Tares used this geographical context to (attempt to) pervert Israel, the priesthood, and the temple.
3) Faith: One who embraces the revelations of YHVH in an ongoing relationship. This context has been used as much as the geographical one by the spiritual enemy. Example: many use this context to point to religion rather than faith. Then they point to "rabbinical Judaism" as the blueprint of considering one a Jew by faith when throughout the Word we have been warned of the leaven.
God's people are given the gift of discerning individuals by their fruits and to know who are fake Jews in every layer of the Word (Rev.2:9;3:9).
__________
Rom.2:28-29 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

-------------------------------------Spiritual Israel---
One with an ongoing relationship with The LORD is a part of a many membered body (this is a reality not a religion). Race doesnt come into play when it comes to ones relationship with The LORD. Throughout the Word we have examples of twins that differ in their standing with YHVH.
Rom.9:6-8 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

* Lk.3:8 Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham (Matt.3:9).
________________
*Jn.8:25-47 *(Jn.8:33,39)

Jn.4:22,23,24/ (Gal.6:15-16/ 1 Cor.2:12-13)
* Gal.3:24-29 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Gal.3:6-7 Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
-------roots-------
Without the Law, there would be NO Grace./ Grace- unmerited, undeserving favor (Rom. 11:5-7).Those who don't partake of The LORD's mercy shall be found gulity according to the Law.

Jesus was of the tribe of Judah and Levi (Israel). The roots of Christianity are those of Israel. Examples:
1)Yeshua and Paul were in the custom of attending fellowhip at the synagogue (church) on Saturday. (Lk.4:16, Acts 17:1-2)
2)There is one way (Eph.4:3-6)
3)The faith of Israel is The only faith Jn.4:22-24, Zech.8:23, Rom.3:1-2, Rom.1:16, Rom.2:9-10
4)Paul respected and kept The Torah, The ways of the temple (house of prayer), and the laws of Ceasar Acts 25:8, Acts 28:17
Rom.3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
5)The remnant (Elect) are set apart ones (Saints) to the ways of the world: Nazarenes (Acts 25:8). Levites- Ex.32:26. Christians- Acts 11:26... They all devoted their lives to a relationship with YHVH. One who embraces discipline according to the Word.
6)The true believers embrace BOTH the Torah and Messiah! Rev.12:17 (Messianic!)
_____________
The Hebrew Word Miqra ("assembly") is found in context throughout the N.T. (Its root is Qriya - "to call") but it is translated as ekklesia (greek) "church" (assembly) from the root kaleo which means to "call". In the greek translations of the Hebrew "O.T.", you will see that "kahal"- qahal or Miqra (assembly, congregation) is translated ekklesia - church (English). If we stay consistant the "church" to early Christians were "Jews" or more properly known as Israel that embraced the Messiah (Messianics).
Acts 7:38 refers to the Israelite ekklesia "church" in the wilderness at Mt. Sinai.
Jas.2:2 assembly - synagogue- church
2 Sam.7:24 For thou hast confirmed to thyself thy people Israel to be a people unto thee for ever: and thou, LORD, art become their God.

The LAW

תּוֹרָה,
הלכה
Without the Law there would be no Grace / - unmerited/ undeserving - favor/.
Christ made it rather clear that he came Not to do away with the Law, but rather taught Torah.
One rooted in The WORD knows there is a difference in Ordinances/ Statutes/ and Rituals.
Example: Christ became the Passover (blood) sacrifice. the symbolizim remains throughout the whole Word of God, however some foreshadows are fulfilled in their appointed times. (Col.2:13-16)
______________
Christ became our Passover (sacrifice) - 1 Cor. 5:6-7, Heb.2:14, Tim. 2:6, Col.2:16-17, Heb.10:10-12/16-18, Ps.22 and
______________
which makes it possible to enter into Sabbath (rest)/ Eturnal Life-
Matt.11:28-30, Heb.4:8-10, Ps.23, Ps.37, (Dan.9:24-25), (Jer.6:16), Is.63:14, Matt.26:28
______________
What Does Christ Say?
Matthew 5:17-18
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Matthew 22:37-40

Jesus said unto him, (1) Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, (2) Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
Mark 12:29-31

And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

* Depending on how one sees the Law, the two commandments above simplify the 10 commandments and serves as an outline to go by for the complete Law!

According to Jews and Christians the first 4 commandments have to do with your (1) relationship with God! which are sumed up with the first great commandment Christ gave (first 3 if you are catholic or lutheran)! The last 6 commandments (7 if you are lutheran or catholic)are summed up by the (2)nd commandment Christ gave and are civil (laws)haveing to do with your relationship with others!

Christ is not the only Jew to simplefy it like this for he asked another Jew how he read the law and he answered just like Christ did and he was not a Christain but a Jew!
Luke 10:26-28

He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou? And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind (Deut.6:5); and thy neighbour as thyself (Lev.19:18). And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live (Lev.18:5).

Christ did this a thrid time:
after Qouting the Civil Laws!!!!!!! and further exsplains that these are simplfied in this way!
Romans 13:8-10

Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
And a forth time!
Matthew 19:17-19

And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

and a 5th time (5 meaning Grace and not to mention Emphasis)
Matthew 7:12

Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

Heb.13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Christ supported the law even when descibing how to pray Matt.6:9-13/ Luke 11:2-4!!

Grace is more than just claiming the Name of Jesus. Matt.25:11-12. Even the demons believe James 2:19. Its all about an individual Relationship with the Almighty. Only the Messiah was sinless. Those who embrace the Passover (sacrifice) shall enter into the Sabbath (rest). Those that dont shall recieve physical and Spiritual death. James 1:15 There are two candlesticks in the Word of God. True Judaism and Christianity. (I suggest the blog The Two witnesses). We as Christians claim the name of Yeshua (Jesus) to show we do embrace the Passover Sabbath. (authority over the enemy) Jn.6:44

1 John 4:10
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Look at the 10 commandments just to look at some laws! (Ex.20:2-17/ Exodus 34:11-27/ Deut. 5:6-21) Do you think you shouldn't put God first? Do you think you should steal? Murder?,........ect
How about other forms of law other than commandments? What about the Law of Gravity? Is the law of gravity still in effect? What about the health laws of the O.T.? Are there not standards to living a healthy life today?

John 3:14-21

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved(exsposed). But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

_________Spiritual Israel Gal.3:24-29 !______
We are given the Law to know how to pleasure God (reasone we were created REV.4:11) and to know how to live healthy and spiritually. Overall how to embrace life (spiritually and physically).
John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
Matthew 5:17-19 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 6:19-21 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Matthew 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: :)
Matthew 7:26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

Matt.7:22-23 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Greek #459 /anomia/ "Ye that work lawlessness" (illegality)

that is, violation of law or (generally) wickedness: - iniquity, X transgress (-ion of) the law, unrighteousness.
Deut.17:9 The Levitical priests were the government at times of the temple and those who traspassed the law were to be brought before them and They would execute God's judgement. This priesthood isn't in order and the temple doesnt stand. This is why Jew's don't stone to death and such according to Torah cause they have no one of this authority which should serve as a sign that Messiah has come.

14Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

15But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

Heb.7:12 For the priesthood being *changed (G#3346), there is made of necessity a *change(G#3331 FROM 3346) also of the law. / Its not saying the Law its self changed its saying authority of executing the law was transfered. It went back to the original which was BEFORE the order of aaron (Levi) back to Melchisedec and if you know who Melchisedec is then you know the authority was Always that of Yeshua (Jesus) to which even Abraham paid tithes thus aaron and Levi Through Abraham paid tithes to as the kingd of righteousness
